Bagi penggemar setia drama korea pasti tahu aktor ini, beliau debut pertama kali pada tahun 1983 MBC drama “3840 Guerilla Unit" kemudian meraih kesuksesan dalam film “Diary of June,” “Siren,” “Plastic Tree,” and “Fly High.”

Aktor ini, ditemukan meninggal disebuah apartemen daerah Gangnam jam 8 malam oleh polisi setempat. Begitu polisi menemukannya dia telah tewas. Memang beliau ini telah melakukan pengobatan psikologi sejak beberapa tahun yang lalu bahkan sampai sekarang. Projek terbarunya yaitu drama "De Jo Young" yang disiarkan oleh MBC.
